a bit on the gloomy side eeyore
irritable as you'd agree
anyone living on thistles
would find it hard not to end up
a dead loss in late middle age
as he goes down the hill alone
with a twitch in the tail yet
remembering as he set off
to the t a b with his well earned
super times with kanga
when nobody cared in the least
suspicion never entered
anyone's mind you he knows
he'll end his days with an ache
in the heart of the matter's to be
tough minded enough to endure
with dignity can be contrived
