Photos from The Weather Project :: Olafur Eliasson :: 16 October 2003 - 21 March 2004 :: Turbine Hall, Tate Modern
Photographs taken at Olafur Eliasson's installation, The Weather Project, at the Tate Modern, London.
Entering the Turbine Hall became a transportation back to sepia-drenched monochrome shots of the underground, with colours leached from the scene, people characteristically trying to ignore each other but captivated by the human reflections in the ceiling - theirs and others. The source of the wonder was the glowing semi-circle of light at the end of the hall, reflected in itself to a full circle, bathing the hard edges of the space in a soft, spectral light.
